Smart looks, fine cabin quality, great range of petrol and diesel engines.
Not as fun to drive as a BMW, questionable ride quality on big wheeled models.
Revisions elevate A6 to the very top of the class.

Owners like Audis. In the most recent JD Power survey into owner satisfaction, the brand was placed in seventh place for satisfaction, which is a fine effort.
The A6 model itself also fared well, although some owners highlighted in the survey that it could suffer from a faulty dash that has now has been cured by a software upgrade on older models.
For the fresh-faced 2009 model, the only concerns may centre around the durability of both the new range of common rail engines and supercharged petrol 3.0-litre, but since they will be used throughout the Volkswagen Group we expect nothing but top-drawer reliability.
As for perceived quality, the Audi still eclipses the competition. The plastics the brand uses feel expensive to the touch, while plenty of chrome and brushed aluminium brighten up a dark, classy businesslike cabin and, if you option it, even the wood looks real.
