Excellent choice of engines, quality interior, quiet, great for cruising.
Shaky ride, not very exciting to drive, dull steering.
A perfectly competent, classy open-top but it's not going to take your breath away.

The 3.0-litre TDi makes the most sense if you cover high mileage and want to keep fuel costs down. Despite having plenty of oomph the 3.0 TDI still returns 42mpg while emitting 179g/km of carbon dioxide. That means the big diesel slips into VED Band E for road tax and company car drivers face a 26% Benefit-in-Kind tax band.
The two-litre TFSI multitronic petrol meanwhile is not far behind even with its auto 'box. It returns 38mpg and emits 174g/km of CO2 whereas the manual with stop/start returns 42mpg while emitting 159g/km, which means business users are liable for a low 19% Benefit-in-Kind tax and VED Band D for road tax.
Insurance groups range from group 15 to 18.
