The soft-top roof, with its sound-deadening foam encased within the inner and outer layers, feels like it will easily stand the test of time.
As a brand Audi's reputation for quality is justified: it finished 7th out of 28 manufacturers in JD Power customer satisfaction survey in 2008. The A5 wasn't included in the list of models surveyed but the A4, on which it's based, finished 20th out of 100.
