Fuel economy is good given the engines' performance; the 1.8 TFSI returns 32.7mpg, the 3.2 FSI 25.9mpg, the 2.0 TDI (140bhp) 41.3mpg and 3.0 TDI Quattro 33mpg, for example (with some variance according to transmission choice).
Carbon dioxide outputs for these models are 172g/km, 216g/km, 149/km and 188g/km respectively; while these models won't incur Band G tax and the £25-a-day London congestion charge, there's still some high tax bandings here.
