Modifications to the engine and chassis answer most dynamic questions originally raised about the car.
Revised interior is still looks better than it works.
A clever and successful update to Aston Martin's best-seller, offering improvements where needed, leaving alone where not.

There is only one aspect of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage's character that is likely to annoy you on a long journey.
It's not its ride comfort, which remains firm but never harsh. Nor is the driving position, the shape of the seats or even the glorious noise from the engine.
The joker in the pack is the minor controls, which, although altered, are little better than before. The buttons are small, fiddly and difficult to operate while driving and the satellite navigation system (which remains an option) must now rank among the very worst sold in any new car of any price, let along one costing a minimum of £85,000.
