Aston claims the V8 Vantage will return 16.2mpg on the combined cycle though the temptation to snap the V8's throttles wide open at the slightest opportunity is so great many owners may struggle to achieve even this. It goes without saying that the V8 Vantage merits top-rate taxation due to its high carbon dioxide output. It'll hold its value well, though.
