Aston Martin V8 Vantage Review

Overview5 out of 5

Think of the new Aston Martin V8 Vantage as a kind of DB9-lite, shorn of seats, cylinders and power to keep the price down and youll miss its point by about a million miles. For all its raw speed and brute power, the DB9 is a touring machine, designed to cruise effortlessly across continents and make its owner look fabulous upon arrival. The Vantage, by contrast, has no interest in such an easy life. It is a hard-driving, no-nonsense sports car, designed to reward the enthusiast like no other Aston in history. As we shall see, it is a task to which it takes with more than the usual relish.
