One of the best-looking cars of all time, mighty V12 performance, great auto' box.
Unforgiving low-speed ride, poor seat comfort, limited range.
Time has done little to weather what remains one of the most desirable GTs of all time.

It's not just the poor touring range that blights the Aston for continental cruising. Everyone who drove the DB9 complained about poor seat comfort, with the pair of sporty armchairs lacking lower back support leading to painful backache.
The new dampers may effectively improve the DB9's handling, but the ride still has a lot to live up to when you're not stringing together a series of apexes: wooden springs to mind over a poorly surfaced road, but that's perhaps the price to pay for the DB9's crushing cross-country pace once off the motorways.
Inside the cabin, the smarter centre console incorporates a sat nav and driver interface from former stablemate Volvo. This introduces an unwelcome fiddly-ness to the Aston.
As with all Astons, expect to spend hours, if not days personalising your DB9 with tasteful - and sometimes not so tasteful - colour schemes.
