Category: Exotic Sports 4 out of 5

Summary of the Aston Martin DB9 (2008-)

Price Range: £116,908 to £125,717

Assets

One of the best-looking cars of all time, mighty V12 performance, great auto' box.

Drawbacks

Unforgiving low-speed ride, poor seat comfort, limited range.

Verdict

Time has done little to weather what remains one of the most desirable GTs of all time.

Aston Martin DB9 Review

Running Costs3 out of 5

The Aston Martin DB9 averages a hefty 17.2mpg and averages 368g/km, meaning top brackets for both road tax and company car tax.

Buyers spending over £100,000 on a car that is most likely to be their second or third will not be quite as concerned at the price of super unleaded, but the range is another matter. Because of the thirst and relatively small 85-litre tank, the Aston will need filling every 300 or so miles - meaning more than a few refills on the way to the Cote d'Azur.
