Aston Martin DB9 Review

Safety and Security4 out of 5

Aston Martin has not volunteered a DB9 for the Euro NCAP crash tests so it is difficult to gauge how it would fare in the event of a serious shunt.

We expect it would protect the occupants well, thanks to its stiff structure and built-in three-stage collapsible chassis rails that absorb the energy of an impact.

Four airbags are standard and the DB9 was the first Aston to gain standard ESP, which is effective and remarkably unobtrusive, considering the power available.
