Alfa Romeo Mito 1.6 JTDm (2009-) Review

Category: Superminis 4 out of 5

Summary of the Alfa Romeo Mito 1.6 JTDm (2009-)

Price Range: £11,595 to £15,795

Assets

Unique looks, smooth engine, Q2 e-diff's added traction.

Drawbacks

Relatively high CO2 emissions, poor steering, limited rear space, possible build issues.

Verdict

A decent 'alternative' choice and, at present, it is the most competitive car in Alfa's line-up. It's worthy of consideration.

Alfa Romeo MiTo Review

Used Value4 out of 5

Against more down-to-earth rivals like from Ford and Vauxhall and even Volkswagen Alfa claims class-best residuals of around 48% after three years and 36,000 miles (a Fiesta retains around 38%).

Unfortunately, it's outclassed by the astonishing 59-62% residuals on the Mini - one of the lowest depreciating cars on the market.
