Alfa Romeo 147 Review

Overview2 out of 5

Alfa's 145/146 now look and feel dated, but the more powerful versions are enjoyable, sporty hatches which are still liked by Alfa aficionados. They're very cheap now, too.

The 145 Cloverleaf is a square-backed three-door, and the 146ti the more family-friendly five-door - but it does look hideous. Both have the same 150bhp, twin-spark 2.0-litre, 16-valve engine.

There is soul in this engine. It revs easily and the engine note is so sweet.
