There are plenty around to choose from, but take care to pick a good example - there are a lot of tatty ones about. The GTV and Spider may seem hopelessly dated and flawed compared to, say, the Audi TT, Mazda RX-8, BMW Z4 and so on, but they do have heritage and all the irrational passion that Italian sports cars continue to inspire. This means that they don't come cheap, but could make a good long-term investment as they achieve classic status.
