After endless hassle with a Ford Focus I bought the C4 - what a fantastic car! At 54,000 miles it sailed through its MOT and not had an unscheduled day off the road. It's never dropped below 50mpg and often gets over 55mpg. Why journalists perpetuate the myth about Citroens being poor beats me - it makes the Ford look bland and hopelessly ill-equipped for a start. I'll be seriously considering another.
Bought used (06 plate with 12,000 miles on the clock) and 3 months down the road I'm well happy with it. No quality issues to report, an extremely comfortable car to drive, and it delivers a frugal 42mpg. Love it!
Swapped a Vectra for this and haven't looked back. The Paddle gearbox takes a little getting used to but if you change up manually while in automatic mode the whole experience is a lot smoother. I've done over 30,000 miles in about a year and the car hasn't had any problems. I took on the EGS as economically the road tax is £35 and the fuel economy is slighly better than the manual. I've averaged over 55mpg for the last 3,000 miles. Don't like the orange displays or where they are. Otherwise, good car!
Fantastic, I love this car. It's the best car I have ever had, much more reliable than my last two Vauxhalls. I have the diesel version and it has been brilliant. The only problems I have had is with the CD player which keeps jamming. I just love it, especially all the electronic display and technology!
Poorly assembled. Plastic rattles. Brakes vary sharp and scrape a lot. Expect lots of pieces to fall off or break off. But the cruise control and limiter are very useful. Good fuel consumption.
