It's been a good car (18months, 14k miles). Supple handling, a powerful refined engine, very quiet and assured, even at high speeds. The driving position is commanding and it even looks good too. It's been a terrible car to own. Serious fuel injector problems, sticking brakes, multiple air conditioning failures. Averages 2k miles between dealer visits, which is just not good enough. Avoid.
I've had this car for 12 months (15,000 miles) and I feel that I can give it a fair review. The engine is lovely providing swift progress given its small capacity and the handling is controlled. The amount of equipment is very generous for a car of this class too. It has proved very reliable and econmical to run (Group 1 and 45mpg overall). However, the build quality is well below par, it rattles and creeks like a car 10 years old, something the dealer can't solve. Which is disappointing.
