Have had the car a week, experience matches the review. Superb driving and handling characteristics, slightly notchy transmission, great list of standard features including 6 airbags, DSTC Control, Heated and ventilated seats and good looks. Nicely taught springs makes this a nice car to drive even though it is a turbo-diesel. Diesel audible though not inside too much. Love the rich interiors - not plasticy and ugly as the other cars in class.
Legendary and proven safety. Stylishly modern design. Good performance from the 2.4 petrol engine with none of the pretence or flash from the competition. Amazing minimalist interior. An excellent choice.
Fantastic - the tourque from the engine is lovely; delivered from low down with a kick like a mule. It will wheelspin off the line, but the mid range punch is incredible. All this, and delivered to a lovely five cylinder sountrack reminiscent of the original Audi Quattro. Contemporary, beautifully designed interior (particularly with the black leather and chrome) and looks which surprise (Really? It's a volvo?) make this far more satisfying to own than the bog standard 3 series / A4.
