A very roomy and comfy car; bigger from inside-out. I drove some 30,000 miles in nearly two years of ownership. Long trips of over 500 miles are no problem once you get used to upright driving/sitting position. Travelling with four on board is fun. Engine, transmission, brakes, steering are okay. Suspension is stiff and one would wish for more comfort, but this would add more weight and affect mpg negatively. My opinion about Note is absolutely positive.
Excellent car that has come on a long way from the Almera. Flexible to drive with a great seating position for those people who suffer from back problems after a long journey. Plenty of storage spaces and the unique twin level rear boot space. Good safety features with well thought out controls for all main items. Very good quality sound system. The fuel catch is the only niggle as it can be quite difficult to locate, especially at night. The Note is a very reliable car and one that I would recommend.
