Well built & feels solid, more like a BMW than the old Alfas. Superb to drive, handles well with great steering and turn in. Good performance but likes petrol. Small design fault as when wet the rear hatch drips water into boot when open. Lots of glances as they are rare.
A major step forward from the GTV in many respects. Scores highly in looks, exclusivity and above all in handling dynamics. The latter compares favorably with other cars I have driven and certainly are better then any other Alfa. The drawbacks are the weight, which gags the V6. The GTV/GTA WOW factor is not there. Another 30bhp would do it. The interior is good to look at but the switchgear is slighly suspect.
How can a car of such staggering beauty, and originality be given anything less than five out of five. I'm sick of reading all the bad press about Alfas. I own two and have nothing but praise for a car manufacturer who still excites its customers. If you've never driven one, book a test drive today and join the growing ranks of the loyal converted. BMW 3-Series Coupe? You must be joking - boring, boring, boring! Give me a red- blooded Alfa anytime.
