This was an unexpected choice but it ticked all the boxes: as a recently disabled driver this car, unlike the C4, is easy to get in and out of, it's easy to load and to drive. It pulls surprisingly well (after my TT). The body roll on corners is a little disconcerting and, I agree, the interior is a bit 'plakky' but overall it is a real laid back driving experience and we even argue over who gets to drive! Main complaints so far - only ONE plip key! and judging where the front ends!
Superb economy minimum in town driving of 40mpg, up to 58mpg on a run. The 110bhp pulls very well and the ESP stability control limits wheel scrabble in the wet/ice. Drives very very easily and smoothly. Very roomy for 5 adults plus a large Boot. For the money must be the best family car available.
The trim feels very cheap, the seats are firm and uncomfortable. The gearbox is clunky - avoid the 1.6 petrol and non a/c models as they tend to mist up quickly. Economy is not that good except for the diesel model. Would much prefer the Renault Scenic. On the plus side - spacious with good size boot.
I found this car quite economical compared to the last Picasso i had, which was the 1.6 petrol. I particulary like the digital display which is easy to read in all conditions and I also like the boot. It's huge. But there are some problems - the trim - although some of it had changed from the 2001 model which I had, the door trim is really hard and the sun visor always falls down when you need it most - Citroen, build better and you're looking at a 3rd sale from me.
Very roomy, very cheap, low costs to run. It didn't have any problems at all so far (2 and a half years - 35000 km), but it could have better plastics. A bit slow (the 1.6 petrol). It has soft suspension which means it is comfortable in highways but not on roads with turns. Generally a good value for money
