Too many problems on delivery meant many visits to the (awful) dealer. Now sorted though electric mirrors still flaky, and no cure available. 9 months and 13000 miles on (and still no service indicator), it is losening up nicely. There is flashier, faster metal for less money available, but for a high mileage user the GTI has refinement on it's side. Great all rounder - marvellous handling and DSG best auto on the market. High price, but has a class and discretion it's competition cannot match.
