I previously owned a 1.8 VTEC Honda Civic and I am so glad I upgraded to the Type-R. The car feels extremely well made and the engine is pure masterclass. The car feels quick up to 6000rpm but when the cam kicks in it's a little frightening how the speed loads on! The engine sounds fantastic too - I love what they have done to the engine note. The steering is extremely quick, sometimes too quick to guide you around the corners! I drove the Seat FR, Focus ST, and Astra VXR but nothing rivals the Type-R.
