Despite the lack of driver aides, the car allows enthusiastic driving to the extent that it is predictable in dry conditions. In the wet, however, the car suffers badly from excessive understeer and body rolling, leading to unwelcome instability. Visibility is excellent, promoting confidence during lane changing and parking. Also, maintenance costs have been well below the national average. The car's drive and reliability have secured the Clio's name on my list of cars suitable for purchasing.
