"I want lots of action - big splashes" is the call from the photographer. Facing a quaint Warwickshire lake, I'm sat in the new Gibbs Aquada with Mark, the company's driver. I can't help but feel he relishes the chance to show off: "They've never let me go in at speed before," he says, "But we'll be okay." I'm sure this pre-production model has probably been in and out of the water more times than most cars get washed, but the inescapable thought remains: I'm sat in an MX-5 (it looks uncannily similar and shares its headlights) and I'm about to get wet - very wet.
