| Bold styling always a TVR trait |
 |
Sat outside the TVR factory awaiting our arrival are two cars. The Tuscan 2 sits to the left in a subtle shade of blue. This car might be familiar to American eyes as the star of the Swordfish and Loony Tunes movies, but in this second generation the dramatic styling has been softened a little. That's because the Tuscan's role as TVR's nutter hero car has been superseded by the Sagaris, which looks like nothing you've ever seen before.
The distinctive orange war paint is nothing more than a curiosity - this car would draw a crowd even if it came dressed in silver. The Sagaris is ostensibly an entry-level Tamora that has been injected with steroids and dragged through a wind tunnel. Every last detail smacks of belligerence and the air-brake-like tailgate spoiler is surely one of the most extraordinary objects ever to grace a road car.

| Sagaris straight out of sci-fi |

Neither car has a door handle. Instead, you enter by prodding a button under the wing mirror, which springs open the door. Access to either cabin is relatively easy but the ambience and the ergonomics could never be described as normal. Almost every part is bespoke and manufactured in-house. Both cabins are eccentric, but the Tuscan's is the more radical.
