Well, it can only improve, because the last Corolla didn't really have an image at all except, perhaps, as sensible and somewhat pedestrian transport. The current car has a long way to go before it can match the blue-chip appeal of a Golf, but its style and substance are a major step in the right direction. The T Sport adds a (little) bit of glamour, too.
