    Rover 25 (00- )
    RUNNING COSTS RATING:

Fuel consumption is generally good and insurance and servicing are well-priced, so the 25's not an expensive car to run, by any means. However, we'd advise against spending top money on the better-equipped, more powerful versions, as you're unlikely to get any greater a return on your investment - opt for what you really need, ABS brakes and no more. Bear in mind too that some there is some uncertainty in the market about longer term residual values.
