| RUNNING COSTS RATING: |

City cars are generally the cheapest cars on the road to run, and the 107 is no exception. An insurance grouping of 1E is the lowest possible, the 1.0-litre engine returns 61.4mpg on the combined cycle, and emits just 109g of CO2 per kilometre. This puts the 107 in the second lowest road tax band of B, meaning an annual tax bill of just £75.
Depreciation is always a consideration when buying a new car, but Peugeot hopes to sell many 107s with its Passport finance deal, which gives buyers the option to trade up to a new car every three years whilst continuing their finance payments. We expect the 107 to be worth slightly more than the C1 on the used market in three years' time, mainly due to Citroen's reputation for discounting.
