Bit harsh, but the Tino simply lacks the profile of the class-leading Renault Scenic and Vauxhall Zafira, or the sheer safety-in-numbers of the bulbous Citroen Xsara Picasso. Blame the Almera tag, a by-word for dullness, and the fact that Nissan hasn't really marketed it strongly enough. People just aren't aware of it, while the fairly formulaic styling also means you won't turn many heads. The new Note (see separate road test) is altogether more distinctive.
