Mitsubihi Evo IX Gallery

| RELIABILITY AND QUALITY RATING: |
 |
We haven't heard many complaints and, serviced properly (which means every 4,500 miles, ouch) and treated with sympathy (avoid those full-bore starts), the Evo should serve you pretty well. That said, these are highly stressed engines and, because they're sold in limited numbers and because so many are modified in some form or another, an online owners forum, rather than a customer satisfaction survey, is the best place to look for hints and tips about looking after one.
In terms of the quality you see, touch and feel, the Evo is not at the top of the pile. But, then, when you work out how much performance you get for your pound, that's not entirely surprising - the money has gone on the hardware, rather than the ambience and interior materials.
