Beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beholder. The Grandis has adventurous styling and turns heads in a way that Mitsubishis of old never did. It's futuristic but not overly so; it's unlikely to polarise the public into camps of like-it or hate-it. Following the Lancer Evo and Colt supermini, the Grandis also wears the new Mitsubishi corporate grille to pretty good effect. You can tell straight away which company it hails from, something the image handlers and design team led by Frenchman Olivier Boulay (ex-Mercedes) strove hard to achieve from the outset.
