None of these cars will hang about. Even the 'poverty' 280 model will do 144mph, although the real urge doesn't begin until you opt for the V8-engined 430 model which will whisk you to 60 mph in 7.3 seconds and reach a (restricted) top speed of 155mph. The range-topping S600 limousine gets a 367 bhp V12 engine - slight overkill, perhaps - and there's also the option of a 3.2-litre, common-rail V6 diesel with 197bhp.
