The XK has a much younger and sportier character than the old XJS, even though the same mature people are buying it. Its classically muscular styling, big engines and opulent interiors have an enduring appeal - and the XK is ageing gracefully. It's not as brash as a Porsche nor as flash as a Mercedes, and it's very British - ofr many, that makes it just the job.
