Reliability and good build have always been Honda strengths and we've no reason to believe that the new Accord will change this. Like the CR-V and Jazz, however, it does feel a little lightweight and flimsy compared to its Germanic competitors. Some of the cabin plastics and materials also feel a bit too cheap considering Honda's premium-class ambitions. But factor in Honda's VTEC engines, which have a bullet-proof reliability record, and we don't expect owners to spend much time at Honda's service centres.
