Forget Jeep, Forget Land Rover; Ford, believe it or not, makes more off-roaders than anyone else in the world. However, the vast majority of them are sold in the US, so while Billy-Jo may well aspire to a Maverick, over here it's virtually unknown and nearly always overlooked. If there weren't any shots to your right, could you picture it? Only the virtually-identical Maverick-based Mazda Tribute has less of an image in the UK, which says it all, really. Not one of Ford's most-desired vehicles.
