Before this car was produced, it would have been hard to imagine any Ford scoring five out of five for image. Good cars though many are, you just don't buy Fords for the badge. Except this one. When the badge says 'Ford GT' you are not buying into a heritage of repmobiles made by the million and sold to a price, but a legacy of sporting triumph, heroism and romance that has captured the public's imagination over the years like few others. Add to this looks that, astonishingly, actually better those of the gorgeous 1960s racer it so faithfully mimics and the picture is complete. Among those who care, this Ford will carry at least as much credibility as any Ferrari or Lamborghini.
