Scores four stars in EuroNCAP crash tests, and features crash protection technologies for deflecting impacts. Standard equipment includes the essential ABS anti-lock brakes (with Brake Assist and electronic brakeforce distribution), driver, passenger, side thorax and side 'curtain' airbags, five three-point seatbelts, anti-submarining seat cushions and front seatbelts with load limiters and pretensioners. ESP (electronic stability programme) is optional.
