As a Ford, it's likely to be a big seller, but like the mainstream Focus, it won't look cheap or common. Less bulging and bulbous than its rivals, the sharply styled C-MAX looks like a sporty station wagon from the rear and not too different from a Focus hatch at the front end. With the optional 17-inch inch alloys, it even looks - dare we suggest it - quite sporty.
