The reliability of Fiats has improved recently, to the point where it's better than average. In terms of finish, the Stilo is a step ahead of the Bravo/Brava, but despite big efforts to improve the quality of cabin fittings, its interior still looks cheap, especially in the lower trim levels, a problem compounded by their gloomy black finishes. The contrasting colour of the centre console in pricier models gives the cabin a considerable lift.
