I have driven both petrol and diesel versions of the Multipla, and although I never thought I would say it, I am seriously considering buying the diesel.I did not find the car too big to handle - it handles far better than the Renault Scenic I currently own - the visibility is excellent and interior space is second to none. However, getting six people's luggage in the boot would be no small task.My only disappointments are the insurance - why is it so much higher than for the Scenic? - and its poor performance in the NCAP crash tests. I understand Fiat will be addressing these problems later this year.
