    SAFETY AND SECURITY RATING:

There are no side airbags here, because Ferrari's crash tests - designed to comply with the most recent regulations both sides of the Atlantic - showed they weren't needed. The mountings for the side impact bars are stronger, though, as are the door-posts and the inner wheelarches. The bare chassis weighs 10 percent more than the 360's, but Ferrari claims that the resistance to frontal impacts is 37 percent better and the rear end is a hefty 105 percent more impact-resistant.

Standard ABS, electronic brake-force distribution and the CST help you avoid the accident in the first place, and the security systems are as you would expect on a high-end car.
