We've heard mixed reviews of the Matiz's build quality. We've been given favourable reports through our User Tests database, but the car was fourth from bottom in the 2002 Which? reliability survey of 83 models. The finish of the interior-trim can seem a bit cheap, but it stands up well to hard abuse from children. Because GM has bought Daewoo, there are no worries about warranties being fulfilled or parts being available, and the company is also offering three years' free servicing.
