With standard power steering, an upright driving position, fine visibility and light controls all around, the Matiz is one of the easiest cars on the market to drive. It's at its most enjoyable in city traffic, where its manoeuvrability and excellent visibility come to the fore. The fact that it's so small and easy to drive means that you might fit into gaps and parking spaces which other cars would miss out on. The springy suspension makes the motorway seem a less entertaining prospect, however.
