Making what is essentially a big people-carrying box look enticing is not an easy task, but the C8 succeeds. The rounded nose, the deep windows, the curving roofline and the vertical tail-lights suggest that this is more than just a minibus, essential if an MPV is to have any style-cred. But it's the interior that really makes it: the ambience is cool, airy and high-tech, making the C8 a place you want to be in. Currently, no other big MPV is as visually intriguing. And children love it, especially for the electric doors. That matters in the school car park register of parental coolness.
