As this is an all-new model, we'll hold off on the full five stars for the time being. Given BMW's track record here, though, we'd be very surprised if the new 3-Series doesn't prove to be as long-lived and reliable as its predecessor. Visible quality in terms of fit and finish is first class, and all of the control functions are marvellously damped and solid-feeling.
