    RELIABILITY AND QUALITY RATING:

Alfa Romeo must get this right to compete with the German brands in this style-driven, high-expectation sector of the market, and a look around and in the GT reveals tidy build, pleasing finishes and a well-assembled cabin. The structure feels solid and lacks rattles, and everything you see appears untroubled by cost-cutting. As for reliability, it seems that Alfas are now coming good but high mileages may tell a different story. The main mechanical parts last well, but today's four-to-five-year-old Alfas, made before multiplex electronics often show electrical gremlins.
