Arash AF-10
The Arash AF-10 that appeared as a prototype at the London Motor Show in 2006 has been revealed in production trim for the first time.
Prices for the British-built AF-10 are expected to be around £320,000 and Arash is targeting other small-scale supercar manufacturers such as Koenigsegg and Pagani. Production will be limited to 70 cars.
Its body and chassis are made of carbon fibre which means a kerbweight of 1,200kg - a whole 500kg lighter than the McLaren SLR, for example.
Under the bonnet is a Corvette LS7 7.0-litre V8 engine delivering a peak power of 550bhp and 465lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a six-speed manual Graziano gearbox.
A supercharged version developing 800bhp and 553lb-ft is planned for the near future and even 1,000bhp and 700lb-ft of torque could be in the offing.
