Peugeot says it is moving away from hot hatches, ditching the GTi badge in the process, and will concentrate on building sporty coupes such as the RCZ.
Peugeot has had a long love affair with the GTi badge, starting out with the hugely successful 205 GTi and then the 306 GTi.
However, the Peugeot GTi started to lose its lustre wit the 207 GTi, which hasn't really caught the car-buying public's imagination.
