Kia Soul Tempest
Kia has launched new Graphite special editions versions of the Picanto and Rio models, and the Tempest edition of the Soul.
The Picanto will now offer the option of a Graphite trim on the 1.1-litre model that adds 14" alloys, remote locking, air conditioning, iPod connection and a rear spoiler for £8,495.
The bigger Rio supermini, meanwhile, also adopts the new Graphite trim, but here is adds bigger 15" wheels, restyles the front headlamps, adds front fog lamps, air conditioning and a rear spoiler. The new trim is available in both 1.4 petrol and the 1.5 CRDi diesel priced £9,395 and £10,395 respectively.
Soul buyers will also have a new special edition option. Called the Tempest the new trim boasts big 18" wheels, silver metallic paint, a reversing camera, and an upgraded sound system. Prices start at £12,845.
Unfortunately, prices across the Soul range rose at the beginning of last month by £280, but to coincide with the price rise all entry-level Soul'1' now come standard with driver's seat height adjustment, while the mid-grade '2' model gets the higher grade model's metallic centre fascia that boasts lots of chrome highlights and a centrally mounted glovebox.
The Soul range now kicks off from £10,775.
