Daihatsu e:S
Daihatsu has used lightweight materials throughout the e:S concept car to achieve a kerbweight of just 700kg.
The three-door city car is expected to be a rival to the Suzuki Alto. It's powered by a 660cc engine and with stop/start technology average fuel economy is said to be around 70mpg.
It uses a current Daihatsu production platform but the wheelbase has been shortened to 2,175mm.
In case you were wondering what the name meant - e:S stands for 'eco and smart'.
