Honda Mugen Type-R
Honda's Mugen Motorsports performance tuning arm has released the first official pictures of the harder-core Civic Type-R Mugen.
The even-more sported-up version of the Type-R features a deeper and wider front spoiler, a new grille, a vented bonnet, plus vents just behind the front wheels.

At the rear the Mugen the Civic's triangular exhausts have been replaced by two huge tailpipes that fit beneath a more pronounced rear bumper and if you thought rear visibility on the standard car was bad enough then take a look at the double-decker wing.
Inside there's no rear seats, only a couple of Recaro sports seats, and under the bonnet is a 2.0-litre VTEC engine which pumps out 240bhp. The Mugen also gets new wheels and brakes.
Expect to pay in excess of £35k if you want to get your hands on a Mugen Type-R but you'll have to wait until later this year. Only just a few dozen will be coming to the UK each year and Honda expects demand to outstrip supply.
